My passion for running makes LMR a natural fit for me. More important than the running aspect is LMR’s focus on improving the lives of boys through teaching positive life skills. After serving many years as a leader in Boy Scouts of America, I am excited for the opportunity to continue to help boys build healthy relationships and find their strengths.
I have served as a Let Me Run Coach for 8 seasons. I also serve on the LMR Development Committee. As a LMR Board Member I hope to use these experiences to help grow the LMR footprint throughout the country.
My hope is that during the course of a season each LMR boy will discover just one thing that they can take with them for the rest of their life. That one thing may come from a LMR lesson, from a teammate’s encouragement, from a knowledgeable coach, from a supporting family member or from training and finishing the 5k race. If each LMR boy comes out of the program happier and more self-confident than before they started then my hopes have been met!
