When Bobby was struggling to survive that first year of life and was suffering from congestive heart failure I was just praying for him to live and to maybe be able to walk and talk, but never would have dreamed that someday he would be running 5k. But now he has and he is feeling on top of the world right now. Bobby loves sports and has always wanted to play football, soccer and baseball but those have always been no's for him. He has always wanted to be on a team like his brother. He never complains but talks about the boys at school having various practices for their team sports. He can tell you any trivia about any sports teams and fantasizes about being a wide receiver someday. So for him to be able to experience the thrill of sport today, the thrill of being a part of a team, the thrill of people cheering for him was something I will never forget.
