In Appreciation and Memory of Barbara Meyer
Let Me Run was fortunate to have Barbara Meyer believe in our mission when we were a young non-profit not able to seek big grants or sponsors. She took a leap of faith with Let Me Run because our mission resonated with Barbara’s hopes for everyone that she met. Barbara accepted, embraced and celebrated herself and every person for exactly who they are. She took the time to recognize and appreciate the unique personalities of each person and this created unshakable bonds with many people. Barbara’s generous spirit has and will inspire many boys to live into their full unique potential, develop deep relationships, and embrace life’s experience.
Let Me Run Sponsors
Designed for runners, by runners, Feetures, a leading performance sock brand, supports runners and other athletes in their pursuit of active lifestyles. Family owned and operated out of North Carolina, Feetures is focused on offering the highest quality products that are designed to help athletes achieve their personal best.
Feetures continues its mission to inspire healthy lifestyles by partnering with Let Me Run. The sponsorship is a natural fit for Feetures! who is passionate about inspiring kids to be active and healthy.
Feetures Founder Hugh Gaither and his two sons, John and Joe, are all active runners and Charlotte locals. “We felt that Let Me Run was just in line with our company’s values of supporting kids programs and getting them active,” says Joe Gaither, Feetures! Director of Marketing. “As a product of the Charlotte community, it was a natural fit to give back to a group that is doing so much for the youth of Charlotte.”
Ashley Armistead, founder of Let Me Run, echoed the sentiments, "Feetures and Let Me Run share common threads in our missions. We both want to see people achieving healthy, active lifestyles and living their personal best. To have the support of a company that has such a stellar reputation for quality and teamwork allows us to further spread our mission and ultimately partner in creating a more peaceful and productive world."
Welcome to Lidl US. Here, we believe high quality shouldn’t have to come at a premium price. Throughout our stores, you’ll find local produce, fresh meats and seafood, imported cheeses, European pastries, weekly surprises and more at unbelievably low prices. Sound too good to be true? Maybe. But at Lidl, you really can have your cake and eat it too. Here’s why:
Our selection is expertly curated. Instead of offering countless brands in every category, we work closely with vendors to source high-quality products at competitive prices.
You’re busy. We get it. Every store features an intuitive layout for a seamless experience.
Our private label products are a result of meticulous sourcing. We partner with local and regional farms and suppliers to give you top-tier freshness and quality. However, we wouldn’t be Lidl without a delicious international selection. From authentic Greek pastries to real Spanish olives, imported specialties are always waiting in stores.
Around 80% of our products are private label—all of which undergo rigorous taste, quality and sensory testing. What can we say, we’re picky.
We’re more than just food. Every Wednesday, new surprises await in the middle of our stores. You’ll find anything from comfy sweatpants to cast iron cookware and more.
We keep prices low by keeping overhead to a minimum and eliminating any unnecessary costs. Take our “bring your own bag” policy. Not only is the cost of bags not built into our product prices, but this approach is a greener solution—something we value as a company. Also, instead of restocking shelves item by item, products are stored in the boxes they arrive in to save time.
St. John Photography develops a strong bond with customers, whether they come to us for advertising photography, commercial catalogs, individual families or entire schools. Our images are beautiful, but it's not just about the photos. When a commercial client is going to print and needs a digital image retouched by the next morning, we'll work overnight to get it done. If a family wants to create something totally unique and original (check out our "family fantasy photos") we'll brainstorm for hours; and our private-school families know us as the "artsy" photographer they can't believe takes school photos!
But above all, we've discovered how to economize without sacrificing quality. We don't nickel and dime our commercial clients by charging for office work and minor alterations. We shoot everything we do quickly, so the energy is high, and use Photoshop to make it perfect!
