I am a mom of three teenage boys and an avid runner. I believe it’s important that boys have the tools they need to reach their true potential, build healthy relationships, and not conform to the “boys will be boys” mentality. Let Me Run has the unique opportunity to address emotional and physical health, and running is a great tool to do that.
As the National Director of Community Engagement, I act as a bridge between Let Me Run and the community, ensuring open communication and fostering a sense of shared purpose and commitment. I am responsible for creating and managing outreach programs designed to engage and inspire public participation in the Let Me Run’s mission.
My hope is that the boys complete the program with increased self-confidence, emotional awareness, and the tools to be good citizens and friends. I hope they find joy in running and having a healthy lifestyle; and they encourage others to do the same.
